Family Fun Night

Tonight for Family Fun Night we made "Monkey Bread".
Actually, Robert and the kids made it-I took pictures.
Here's the recipe we used. It turned out GREAT!

Monkey Bread
4 cans refriderated biscuits
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter (3/4 cup)
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greace a bundt pan
2. Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a medium sized plastic bag. Cut the biscuits into halves or quarters and place six to eight biscuit peices in to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Shake well.
3. Arrange peices in the bottom of the greased pan. Continue layering until all the biscuit peices are coated and in the pan.
4. In a small sauce pan, melt the butter with the brown sugar over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over the layered biscuits.
5. Bake for 35 minutes (check at 30 minutes). Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Pull apart and enjoy!

Robert's mom used to make this for him when
he was a kid.

Cutting lessons!

cutting on their own!

Pouring on the butter/brown sugar mixture.

All done...

and ready to eat...after they pose for this picture!

Kennedy and Emery loved it too!

What a fun evening! Thanks Daddy!
